Student life at San Diego High School is diverse, welcoming and filled with opportunities to find others who share your interests and passion. #WeAreSanDiego #ComeDowntown

• Students at SDHS run more than 70 clubs and societies. It's a great way to meet other people with similar interests, make friends, make a difference.

• It's wonderful to get to know people with different points of view, and from different countries and cultures.

• SDHS an active and successful AJROTC. The "Caver" Battalion is 105 years strong. Est. 1919.

• The student-lead Theatrical Knights theater group stages two performances a year in our performing arts center. New actors and crew are always welcome!

• Cavers care. We help with food drives, the caver closet, and so much more.

• Our wellness center supports our mental and physical health. It provides a safe and welcoming space for all students.

• Our school comes together for spirit days, to support our teams, and for school-wide events including our World Fair, Back-to-school night, and school dances organized by the excellent San Diego High School Associated Student Body (ASB).

• The Juniors 5-day college tour takes SDHS students to 11 universities all over the California and also the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
• You can visit Austria or Japan as part of our exchange programs.
• Although some parts of our campus are being rebuilt there are still plenty of attractive places to eat lunch with friends. All SDHS students get lunch every day, for free!
• Students who work on the SDHS yearbook learn about journalism and go to the national student journalism convention.

• SDHS students are involved in our school and in the school district and care about the issues affecting our whole city and world. We are making a real difference.
